MusicStream is a licence-free digital music service designed for business. It makes sourcing, delivering and managing music easy, and it saves you time & money.

The Music & Playlists

At the heart of MusicStream is a large, diverse and growing catalogue of original high-quality 'licence-free' music. The music is organised into channels e.g. Fashion Retail, and each channel contains expertly compiled playlists. There is also a range of genre playlists such as Ibiza Chill, Smooth Jazz, Classical and Christmas music on the service.

The playlists can be edited and you can easily create your own playlists. We create bespoke playlists for corporate customers while most SMEs are more than happy to use the standard ones.

Accessing the MusicStream service

Like iTunes, Spotify and Napster, MusicStream can be quickly and easily installed onto a host of PC, Mac and Android devices. You can download the service from this website and you can also download a trial player and try before you buy. No credit card needed, no obligation. For large chains we manage instore trials, installation & training where required.

Once the MusicStream software is installed, the computer is connected to an audio-system (amp + speakers) the music can be streamed over the internet from our servers OR downloaded and played without internet access. Playlists you select are automatically downloaded onto your computer or tablet so that music can be played even if the internet connection goes down. So an internet connection is needed only for set up and for new music updates. It's totally secure, regularly virus checked and comes with comprehensive online support for peace of mind.

All that's needed is a computer, amp, speakers and an internet connection. No need for special hardware, no need for a music licence, and no need to worry about sourcing new music ever again.

If you don't have a suitable or conveniently located computer on site to run MusicStream on, we offer a great value touchscreen tablet, the MusicStreamPlayer, which works straight out of the box with MusicStream pre-installed.

For larger businesses that connect their sites through a secure intranet, we have experience of delivering our service either though a secured port or though a dedicated corporate server.

Central or Local - you choose

MusicStream allows businesses to control and manage their music - select, edit and schedule playlists centrally or locally. Or corporates can use MusicStream as a totally outsourced solution managed by us.The "My MusicStream" control panel is used to set up the service to suit business needs, such as setting local permissions (what you want to allow local staff to be able to do), and setting the music policy across multiple sites. Nearly every feature can be centrally managed or delegated to local site management:

• Choose the channels and playlists you approve of for your business. You can hide the rest of the catalogue if you want to. Develop audio programming that works for you. 
• Share custom playlists you've created across your network, or let us create bespoke programming for your business. MusicStream can even create original music on your behalf.
• Schedule the right music to play at the right time. Take complete remote control of the music at all your outlets from one screen.
• Choose what playlists to download to enable offline play . If your internet goes down the music keeps playing.

Customisation

Our catalogue has been expertly compiled into tailored playlists to fulfill the music needs of different sectors. You can use any of these playlists as they are, or edit them to meet your specific requirements. You can instantly de-activate tracks you think are unsuitable, or boost the frequency of your favorites. You can create custom playlists yourself. Larger businesses can use our expertise to develop bespoke programming and control music programming and scheduling.

Scheduling

The MusicStream player has a scheduling function so you can set which playlists play at certain times of the day and week. Plan the music to change automatically so you always create the perfect atmosphere for your customers, when its quiet, busy, early or late, Summer or Christmas time. Once set up, you can literally forget about the music.

Zoning

For sites running a zoned music system, the MusicStream player can be optionally enabled to provide multiple channels simultaneously, controlled from one screen. Quickly switch playlists or use zoning to create a different atmosphere across multiple rooms or floors. We can consult on the audio hardware requirements you need for a zoned system.

Messaging

If you want to comunicate directly with your customers or staff, the MusicStream player can be used to insert scheduled announcements and messages into background music. Upload audio files centrally and decide when, and how often, they are played. We offer a full production service  and can advise on how best to use this feature to boost sales.

Support

MusicStream provides comprehensive online and email support to assist with set-up, installation and troubleshooting. We can also provide full account management giving you a dedicated account manager,  phone support and remote trouble-shooting (we log on to your computer to diagnose and fix any technical issues).
